I've been eating at this location for over 30 years. Went in last night. Was told it would take 30 minutes to be seated, so we waited outside for about 10 minutes before heading back in. They had already called us, but went ahead and seated us next. 3 of us, we wait about 10 minutes before the waitress brings menus and takes drink order (2 Dr Pepper, 1 beer). Returns a few minutes later with 1 beer, 1 Dr Pepper, takes our order including an appetizer and says she'll be right back with the other Dr Pepper. 30 minutes go by ... read more

The service was horrible! There wasn't a lot of people and there were a lot of empty places for us to sit (we were 3 people in total) and they took long plus when they took us in I heard employees talking bad about other customers plus the employees were just walking around and doing nothing and being on their phones

I was excited to go here for my birthday dinner. They made it so easy. But when I got there we still had to wait 30 minutes (I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance) and then were stuck in a room with other large parties which means we were not a priority. It took us 2.5 hours to finish the meal because service was so slow. Our waiter was completely swamped- he forgot 4 appetizers we put in. Such a shame but I do not think I will be returning

Was it worth over the 30 minute wait? I don't think so but I do have to say that the beef fajitas were on point. They were delicious. The flour tortillas were like abuelita was in the back making them just for us. It was the service. Now our server did a great job at the start. It was insanely busy on a Saturday night at 7:30. Once she got a large table of about 13 people we were forgotten about for around 15-30 minutes. I get that she was busy. However, what gave the low stars was management. There was what looked like a ... read more

I really did not care for the food. The salsa tasted more like marinara and the fajita meat was not that great.

Rude, horrible service! Manager needs to learn customer service. Food is way overrated. Stale chips, cheap chicken. Dirty restrooms. Never waste time and money there again.

Business response:

Don, I am terribly sorry to read about your experience. This is one that is certainly not typical and I would greatly appreciate some insight so that we may address the issues you had and insure that we fix them so that we are providing the food and service that our guests have become accustomed to for over 40 years. If you would please email me your contact information to russell@scratch-hospitality.com I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you and hopefully earn the chance to serve you again in the futu... read more

We had gone to this place for years. It's no longer the same place as before. We are there yesterday on Tuesday 11/15/23 with our family. We had to wait for the waiter to arrive. He was running late but ok no big deal. The food was HORRIBLE. I mean horrible. I took one bite and didn't eat the rest. The men's restroom and the women's restroom are DISGUSTING. They had staff just standing around. They weren't busy so someone could've gone in and cleaned them instead of holding up the wall. DO NOT EAT here. My granddaughter and ... read more

Found this place only because next door to the hotel we were staying at. Very close and convenient for sure. The food took just a little long to be served but this could be only because I was starving. The beef fajitas were very tender and delicious. The reason for the 2 stars was the service. We did not see our server after the food was delivered by someone else. Finally flagged down another server who brought me a copy of the bill only to inform him it had been 20 minutes and needed tortillas and refills. Waited even longe... read more

Service sucks, food is dry, and they don't have hot sauce. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have hot sauce? Our orders were wrong, but even when they fixed them they still tasted like something you'd feed your dog. Save yourself some disappointment and go elsewhere.
