Was it worth over the 30 minute wait? I don't think so but I do have to say that the beef fajitas were on point. They were delicious. The flour tortillas were like abuelita was in the back making them just for us. It was the service. Now our server did a great job at the start. It was insanely busy on a Saturday night at 7:30. Once she got a large table of about 13 people we were forgotten about for around 15-30 minutes. I get that she was busy. However, what gave the low stars was management. There was what looked like a ... read more

I really did not care for the food. The salsa tasted more like marinara and the fajita meat was not that great.

Rude, horrible service! Manager needs to learn customer service. Food is way overrated. Stale chips, cheap chicken. Dirty restrooms. Never waste time and money there again.

Business response:

Don, I am terribly sorry to read about your experience. This is one that is certainly not typical and I would greatly appreciate some insight so that we may address the issues you had and insure that we fix them so that we are providing the food and service that our guests have become accustomed to for over 40 years. If you would please email me your contact information to russell@scratch-hospitality.com I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you and hopefully earn the chance to serve you again in the futu... read more

We had gone to this place for years. It's no longer the same place as before. We are there yesterday on Tuesday 11/15/23 with our family. We had to wait for the waiter to arrive. He was running late but ok no big deal. The food was HORRIBLE. I mean horrible. I took one bite and didn't eat the rest. The men's restroom and the women's restroom are DISGUSTING. They had staff just standing around. They weren't busy so someone could've gone in and cleaned them instead of holding up the wall. DO NOT EAT here. My granddaughter and ... read more

Found this place only because next door to the hotel we were staying at. Very close and convenient for sure. The food took just a little long to be served but this could be only because I was starving. The beef fajitas were very tender and delicious. The reason for the 2 stars was the service. We did not see our server after the food was delivered by someone else. Finally flagged down another server who brought me a copy of the bill only to inform him it had been 20 minutes and needed tortillas and refills. Waited even longe... read more

Service sucks, food is dry, and they don't have hot sauce. What kind of Mexican restaurant doesn't have hot sauce? Our orders were wrong, but even when they fixed them they still tasted like something you'd feed your dog. Save yourself some disappointment and go elsewhere.

Don't go here if you're Mexican/Hispanic they only cater to white people despite the name our waiter had bad customer service but had great customer service to the white people sitting next to us. Salsa taste like warm Ragu, fondue cheese was hard even after the waiter remade it. beware when ordering from the kids menu the chicken tacos are actually chicken tinga tacos the kids didn't even touch their food. and the flautas seem to have been sitting all day and they just toss them in the microwave they were very crispy almost... read more

Even though they have a good service, the food lacked flavor and seasoning. I asked for a plate of carnitas and it didn't taste like carnitas at all, the rice was bland and did not have the tomato flavor it should have for a typical "arroz rojo". The flour tortillas were atrocious, some parts were so thick that it wasn't fully cooked, they looked more like pitas than flour tortillas. My husband asked for enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and the sauce was bitter and lack seasoning. It might be good enough for some people, but ... read more
