I made reservations at Walloon's to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday and my sister-in-law's 35th birthday. Carrie provided a wonderful dining experience. She went above and beyond -- writing birthday cards, lighting candles in the bread pudding, and truly making the evening feel special. Came for a birthday dinner party of 8. Everything started out picture perfect. Adult bev's were tasty after settling in we opened with appetizers- Mothers Deviled Eggs $14, Redfish beignets...don't remember price but delicious, 1 doz raw oysters listed as MP (market price). "Do believe the hype." Over priced, not fresh, and just misses the mark in so many different ways. Oysters tasted old, red snapper (my favorite fish) was under seasoned and served in a soup. A soup! Disappointed as we were excited.

I did not get a chance to taste your food because you said that you only had reservation, but it does not say that on your website that I needed to make reservation. I am from Austin Texas, and I was very disappointed when I got there because they tried to fit my husband and I at the bar but on different sides. personally, I am do not like sitting at a bar to eat so again I was very disappointed and if it was 0 to 10 out only give you a one

It has a great feel and ambiance and some of the food was nice. Bar service was ok, but slightly rude. My biggest complaint is the lack of appetizers. Their appetizer menu is simply not good. We live very close and I'd make it my regular spot if my wife and I could split some nice appetizers but the variety and quality are simply not there.

Issue was the service at (empty)bar area. Very arrogant. Kept my bag on the chair while I could settle in and was rudely informed there are hooks for bags :) "hey buddy can I sit first" Just not overall not impressed. Lots of lovely new restaurants around. Will take my cocktails $$$ somewhere else.

Service amazing - Matt was awesome ! The placed allowed a patron to have a dog at the bar - Found this gross since others were eating. One couple left .

Service was unacceptable when asked about a different table and they refused when dozens of tables were open.homeless people sleeping along side the entrance with shoes off. Red fish beignets were extremely breaded and oily. OYSTER Rockefellers were ok, Waiter was x Manager did not want to accommodate. Mussels were great. Appetizer were not worth the price. We won't come back

Great atmosphere, good service, recipes need some work. I'm torn on this because overall we had a good experience except for some bad execution on certain dishes. Moulet Frites: delivered with at least 3 mussels still closed. Those should have been discarded in the kitchen. There was also some grittiness in the broth making us think they weren't properly clean. Lobster roll: at $30 would expect to see some good pieces of lobster.
