I shot photos for this restaurant and decided to grab a bite since it was lunch time! I sat at the bar since it was pretty packed and I was alone. I ordered the lobster roll and it came within 10 minutes of me ordering. My meal was fantastic and tasty! Will be back with my fiancé.

As a new restaurant there's always a few bumps in the road, but Walloons has done very well to ensure a great dining experience. Service was very good, moved quickly and ensured all our needs were taken care of but didn't linger or make us feel we had to leave. All dishes and drinks ordered were very good, especially the cold water oysters. An upscale experience with great interior decoration, I highly recommend for date nights, a night out with friends, or to satisfy a seafood craving.

Love the ambiance and can't say enough about the great service! Despite being extremely busy, our waiter made us feel more than welcome and cared for. Drinks: we tried two of the seasonal cocktails. I got the Goddess of War which was refreshing but very very light on the flavor with a hint of cantaloupe. I'd pass on it next time. My husband opted for the gold rush, which was a great balance of bourbon and lemon/honey without being sweet. That was definitely our fave of the two drinks we tried! Starter: we got the spicy tu... read more

What a great new place on W Mag! We had no idea where we were going for din din, then stumbled upon Walloon's and are so glad we did. The food was phenomenal - we had the redfish beignets, the seafood mac n cheese and the bread pudding - all top notch! (see pics) Menu is on the smaller side, but that meant our food came out very quickly which was a nice touch. Service was wonderful, the bartenders were very attentive, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Not sure about the waitstaff, but they all appeared to be doing a fa... read more

Very, very nice restaurant. Excellent and friendly service. Terrific ambiance. Now I'll talk about their Trout Amandine...the absolute best I've ever had! The menu has many interesting things to order, but I'm not certain I can go there and not eat the Trout Amandine (I'll try). If other offerings are a good as TA, I might never eat anywhere else again.

The food was average in my opinion. I'm not sure if it's because I'm comparing it to the coast. We ordered the lobster roll and braised beef. The lobster roll could use more lobster meat. The braised beef was delicious. Service was okay. They didn't go over the oysters to us or offer us more drinks. They're probably still working on it, since it's still new.

Place has a great vibe and was loudly buzzing on a Tuesday early evening. Sat at the bar and was greeted a few minutes later by bartender. Ordered the Redfish bouillabaisse with shrimp and mussels. The bouillabaisse was very good as was the redfish. Perfectly cooked. However, the 2 shrimp were way overcooked and clearly had been in the pot for a while, rendering it a chew fest. It came with 3 small mussels and a small slice of grilled bread to complement the meal. Needless to say, I walked out hungry for $36. Was not... read more

This was their grand opening week and you could tell by the crowds. The place was packed and even though it was hopping we were seated within 15 minutes of our reservation time. Service was top notch, friendly and consistent. The food was amazing! We started with the Beer Battered Redfish Beignets and then moved onto the Seafood Mac & Cheese and the Lobster Roll. For dessert we had the Something Chocolate and the Bread Pudding. We will definitely be coming back to sample more of the menu. Perfect date night locale.
