The redfish beignets and the steak frites are insanely good. I need to make it in for dinner and oysters. Happy they're in the neighborhood.
Does a lot of stuff very right. Drinks are fantastic, service is friendly, ambiance is relaxed and homey. Beignets are hands down best appetizer; sauce is fantastic too. You can't go wrong with the Italian beef sandwich or the braised short rib - both are fantastic. Only thing I didn't like was the lobster roll, which is a total ripoff at 30$...I don't say that lightly...but the measly amount of lobster didn't fit the price point at all. Wonderful atmosphere! Amazing service! Delicious food, we had trout, lobster Mac , red fish, steak and fries.... Bread pudding dessert o m g !!!! Pricey and worth it !!!!

Another great place from Marcus. Our first experience, at Walloon, and we were with a large group. Service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Our entire party raved about the evening. And that's hard to do with our group. From seafood tower, deviled eggs, mussels, redfish, mac n cheese, you name it and we tried it. All delicious. Get there!
Five stars may be a little gracious, but everything I had here was really good, and since this is a place I probably won't visit very often, (tad expensive for me) I'm just gonna lay it out there. Went late evening on a weekend night but still pretty busy. Hasn't been open a long time, several months. Figured there would be a seat at the bar, and there was...one seat available. Walloon's is amazing!! I booked a reservation for our 1 year engagement anniversary through Resy. We arrived for our reservation and were greeted by the hosts. We were seated immediately with no wait. It seemed to be a busy night as we were seated in a tiny table for two in the corner of the restaurant. The decor and ambiance is amazing.
