First and it will be my last impression. First got seated on a broken table moved the hostess cleaned off another table but didnt dry it so we got sat at a wet table. We were surrounded by nothing but DIRTY NOT CLEANED tables we counted about 8 around us. How can you enjoy yourself surrounded by that? We asked to be moved inside. Maybe if the food was great then ok but nope of course not. Good bar food at best. Would not recommend for a dinner out.

Food was good but service was terrible The hostess at the front tried to seat us on the patio in farthest corner possible with 16 empty tables inside. Then she got a nasty attitude when we asked to be seated inside. What is wrong with her. The customer pays a premium price and then the server expects a 25% tip. No mgr was on the floor or came to any table to check on customers. I will not return.

I have been to Thirsty Lion several times. I have always found their service to be slow, although courteous. Food good. We went last night and the service was soooooo slow and the food only mediocre. Either just an off night or they are really going downhill. Took a friend and was sad we did not have a more enjoyable experience. Won't be back anytime soon. Sadly Signed, Unhappy Customer

Reserved a booth for 2 pm didn't get seated until 2:30. After I was told when I arrived they were getting the table ready. While waiting I saw them seat a bunch of young adults at the booth. I went up to confirm that my reservation said booth and the panic on the girls face was priceless. I was told they didn't have a booth. But they did not apologize for just giving it away in front of us. It was a special day for us that started out bad. Got the calamari appetizer and it had a long dark hair in it. I've been to the Thirsty Lion a few times and the food is decent but seems overpriced. I really like the smoked turkey club and I think that's what I've always ordered. This most recent time, I walked in at 12:30 and the hostess asked if she could help me. I said I was waiting for a friend and she didn't say anything else. Within a few minutes, several other groups came in. I heard a few say they had reservations but then a pair came in and the hostess told them it was a 20 minute wait... My friends and I had not seen each other in weeks we were looking for a local spot to catch up, we stopped by the Thirsty Lion, typically we have a good experience, the staff at the door were very friendly but then the waitress that supported our area was less then friendly. We ordered a few happy hour items and some drinks, things seem to start well but as it got busier our waitress seemed to loose patience and did not come around as much. Was excited to try Thirsty lion however I was a bit underwhelmed. The food was okay, it wasn't bad but wasn't memorable. We tried some of the cheese curds, pretzel, and chicken dish. Service- our server was attentive but not very warm. We also had mentioned to him we would be sharing a dish when we ordered. He never mentioned there's a " split fee" until we got the check we saw it. I even looked all over the menu and I didn't see any print about split fees. I see quite a few reviews complaining about the 3% tax Thirsty Lion charges on every bill. I do like the food there but haven't eaten there in years. Until they wipe this charge off the bills to customers I will never go there again. Only restaurant I've ever eaten at the taxes the customers for eating at their establishment. With this being said, Spirit Halloween could always use a different location for their seasonal store....
