Mercado Juarez has been a favorite for me and my husband for years. However, today the server was terrible! Our waitress was rude and did not seem like she wanted to be at work. My order wasn't as I had requested but I couldn't complain because our waitress didn't come around again until it was almost time to pick up our plates. I will seriously think twice next time I'm looking to eat good Mexican food. I expected so much from this place, and it was not worth the hype ! The waiter was very rude, he didn't explain menu well I had so many questions he just rushed everything. The food is not as good for the price it was, I am honestly very disappointed.
Awful service and our enchiladas were so plain. The quality of this restaurant has gone down a lot since the last time we were here. Waste of money!
I used to be a huge fan of this restaurant. I went today for the first time in six months or so. The waiter acted like he was doing us a favor to wait on us. It got worse from there. The flour tortillas were thick and too chewy, fajita meat overdone, and the borracho beans bland and almost inedible. The only positive was the chips and salsa. It was as good as always. We have been using this place for a few months now for our team meetings. Today has been the worse experience. Very unprofessional and rude.
Worst service around. We have our monthly meetings here but after today, I will never return. Unfriendly and unprofessional staff!
Quality of corn tortillas was awful, food was just ok service was so so but chicken soup wonderful
I wanted to be impressed but they just couldn't do it for me. Hostesses were not very inviting and was sitting, playing on their phones when I arrived. Waiter, never once smiled. But he was prompt and accurate. Building is old both inside and out and needs some renovations to appear more clean. I don't feel that it was dirty but really looks that was. I'm not a fan of Mexican food at all and I only go to this place because the rest of my family loves it for some reason. That being said the tortillas are good and served hot and fresh. The service isn't so great, it felt like anything I asked the server bothered him and he kept ignoring me. Quesadillas are ok :)
