Absolutely love this place. I always come here and make reservations for birthdays and celebrations. They bring you hot salsa and chips right when you sit down and it's so good!! Their tortilla soup is also yummy and the waiters are so nice. I recommend Mercado to all my friends

The food was good the service was ok had to wait 20 min to get drinks every time you wanted a new one. So i just started going to the bar. Much better service there. We had a party there for a friend. When we tipped the server he told her no bueno on how much we tipped. We tipped 20% he said no there are 6 of us no bueno. Are you kidding me!!!! Great food. The tortilla chips and fresh tortillas were some of the best I've had. The salsa was different, but really tasty. Prices were fair and the service was good. Highly recommended.

Food is pretty decent. Sell their fresh salsa for 3 bucks. Buy it instead of the bottled junk. Staff is nice. Bar is smallish but great tender. Mango margarita is worth trying!!

I had a somewhat late dinner with a HUGE party (over 20) after the Texas Scottish Festival. We had a couple of different servers helping us out, and they were doing a great job keeping drinks and chips and salsa topped off. I ordered the beef chile rellano for my entree, and it was delicious. It featured a nice, lightly battered rellano with flavorful ground beef inside, and just the right amount of heat. I have been going to Mercado Juarez in this location since I was very young. I still remember when I went for my birthday and the mariachi band came out to sing Barney to me. It was over a decade ago, so I don't know if they do that anymore, but I still go to this restaurant when I'm wanting to show friends good local Mexican food. Their chips and queso are phenomenal. I always get the beef fajita fondita and it always fills me up. Highly recommend this place!

They were very accommodating to our large group. Service was fast and very attentive even though it was a busy weekend. Plenty of space all around for our large party and two others that were going on. The queso here is pretty good, the wait staff was great on keeping chips & drinks refilled as we waited for the last of our party to arrive. I had the spinach and chicken quesadillas while my sister had the ones with just chicken. They were pretty good with generous portions. We visited this evening after our parents' 50th wedding anniversary and the restaurant was miserably hot. Their AC was clearly not working, several of the wait staff was using personal fans so clearly they are aware of it. On top of that, our server was very slow, most likely because he was getting gratuity since we had a party of 12 so he didn't have to worry about getting a tip.
