The food at Mercado Juarez is great. We have always had good experiences there until the last visit we had in which our server stole my husbands wallet that was left on our table accidentally. I do not know her name, she did not introduce herself however she had tattoos on both arms, her left arm had circle swirl tattoos. She was in her 20s, hispanic and average height. Service was TERRIBLE. On 12/30/2025... My pick up order just sat for 30 minutes and no one had a clue where it was and blamed someone else. The manager was CLUELESS. First and last time eating there. Prices are not worth the very average food.

My large family used to be such regulars at Mercado Juarez that it was a separate line item in our family budget. That all changed when favorites items started dropping off the menu. Pork fajitas, pollo con hongos, pollo loma linda, and others all left. What remains are essentially the basics you can get anywhere. Personally feel like it's just too American for it to be considered Mexican food. The food was just alright, but for the price I expected better. Not to mention the waiters had an attitude when speaking to us.

Just wasn't loving that customer service when walking in to get a pick up order manager basically told me to go get my stuff at the bar just not very friendly. Fajitas were very basic. The salsa was mostly onions-

they had a good run! over 35 years of great food. the sausa was the only thing that remainded the same. the tortilia was thin and almost crispy. the chicken enchilada was tasteless and dry. not even the rice and beans were close to their standards of the past. can't count the great lunches and family dinners they served my family,coworkers and friends. i will miss you mercado.

Hit with a Tex-Mex craving while visiting Arlington, we decided to try Mercado Juarez. The service was great, very friendly and prompt. The food, well, this is below average Tex-Mex at best. The chips and flour tortillas were very good. Nothing else tasted like it was made in the restaurant. My carnitas were dry and chunky, served with a dollop of overly processed guacamole, my wife's spinach enchiladas topped with a cream sauce that might have been alfredo sauce with some cilantro in it. Bad service They serve warm salsa without the option to get chilled, cold salsa like any other restaurant. Waitress is unhappy and barely checks up on us and I didn't feel welcomed. Felt like every request was just an inconvenience to her. Food was okay but the salsa was below average regardless of the temperature of it.

Cockroaches!!!! They took a lot of items off the menu and food doesn't taste as good. When you're cost cutting we should still have a great experience!! It didn't happen! When we saw the roach crawling up the wall, we lost our appetite.
