1845 is probably the best restaurant at Lakeside here in Flower Mound. Operated by the Marty B's company the service and food is really good ! Great Texas ambiance and menu selection, especially the steaks! The bar selection also has very good selection of allocated bourbons. Highly recommended spot for families or large groups !

We came on Wednesday evening to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Everything about this experience was great. We had no less than five different staff greet us and congratulate us on our anniversary. Our server did a great job in explaining the menu and some of the signature menu items. We tried the meatballs as an appetizer and they were wonderful. I could have made a meal out of those by themselves they were so good. Excellent food, drinks and great service! Highly recommend starting at their beautiful spacious bar before dining. I am not a bar person per-say, but this bar at 1845 is elegant, spacious and the staff are very welcoming!

We arrived for our 7pm reservation and the restaurant was pretty full. We were told it would be about 15 minutes before we could be sat. The restaurant then sent a waitress to us in the waiting room to get drink orders and see if we wanted any appetizers. The restaurant then brought around a sampler of an appetizer to everyone in the waiting room. After we were seated, the manager came over and gave us champagne and apologized for the wait. Found the restaurant by sheer luck when my wife was finishing an errand nearby. We'd been looking for a place to grab something to eat, and the menu looked delish so we went for it. Couldn't have been happier. Great service, cool ambiance. All the art and music come from Texas artists. When the server asked if we needed anything else while a Toadie's song was playing, I joked "more Toadies?" And she did it! Snuck a few more of their songs in the playlist for me. I have entertained clients at this restaurant several times. I have never been disappointed. My last visit was a group of 19. The service from 1845's professional staff is unmatched for their knowledge of the menu and food preparation, to the timing of the meal. I recommend 1845 for any occasion. You will not be disappointed.

One of the best tasting prime ribs I have ever had was here at 1845. The cheese dip was to die for. The service was amazing. Our waiter was pleasant, attentive, and efficient. The overall feel of the restaurant was very chill. I loved the lighting and decor. Ambiance alone would give this place a 5 star rating. Will definitely come back here when in Texas again.
