Service was great and food was delicious. We had the ahi poke, pork fried rice, and the pear and prosciutto flat bread and the were all delicious. The flatbread would have been even better with a little drizzle of hot honey, but even without that everything tasted great! And our server Isabel was fantastic. Very sweet, great service, and very patient with me when I took forever to decide what I wanted to eat. We're from out of town but would definitely frequent this place if we lived closer.

Visited April 2025 Popped into Thirsty Lion at Desert Ridge to grab a bite to eat and watch a little bit of the NFL Draft and honestly, total win! We scored great seats at the bar and Lyndon took amazing care of us. The place was buzzing with energy, clean (yes that really matters to me!!), and packed with a friendly "Cheers" kind of vibe. First time coming here. So, the calamari was brought out cold, but we sent it back, and it came back out hot. Fries also came out cold too, but we had to take one for the team with those. Also, it took FOREVER for a simple side salad and a simple chicken sandwich to come out too. Food was decent but definitely not worth the wait. Also, the service herself left MUCH to be desired. Just an overall mid-experience.

Met my friend for happy hour and we made our selection of beverages and food from the happy hour menu... or so we thought!! My items were priced correctly. My friends were all wrong. She ordered a Moscow mule minus the alcohol, suddenly her drink was 12.00+, she ordered flatbread but doesn't eat meat. She was charged 15.00 +. We had a great time at the Thirsty Lion. The atmosphere was good, a little dark inside, was busy and lively when we were there. Our server was very good super friendly and left a water pitcher for us once she refilled a water once. My wife had the BBQ pork and kimchi fried rice. We met friends here for supper. Place was packed. Service was good but not great, however it was extremely busy. Server was accommodating to splitting the bill. We shared a salad and it was full of flavor. Didn't try drinks but the table did. The carafe is water for the table was definitely tap water and had a dirt like taste. I wouldn't be opposed to giving the restaurant another try the next time we are in town.

The Thirsty Lion (Desert Ridge Marketplace location) From the moment we walked up, we had a great experience. The hostess actually opened the door for us and got our group seated right away--super friendly vibe from the start. I would give this Thirsty Lion a zero if it was an option. This is the second time I've ordered from this location with BAD results. Today, I ordered a burger WITHOUT cheese and MEDIUM WELL. It came with cheese and medium rare. If I had a severe intolerance to dairy this would have been worse. EVERY SINGLE French fry was soggy - not the way they should come. Food and drink - excellent. Bar service at noon on a Saturday, slow. Very slow, especially considering the number of people working the bar.
