I am honestly appalled at the experience I had here. My boyfriend and I selected this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary; the menu seemed substantial and the cocktail menu looked enticing. However, the service and quality of our food was so horrendous, we were forced to cut our evening short and leave. We stopped in on Black Friday weekend Sunday night. When we walked in at 4:30, we were one of three people at the bar. And the restaurant was mostly empty as well. We came for happy hour and started with a couple of beers. After a bit, we ordered queso and chips. Surprisingly, we had more queso than we had chips. Thirsty Lion - Desert Ridge is a top-notch spot for catching the game and enjoying great food. The team was super accommodating-when we arrived to watch a football game, they changed the channel so we had the perfect view. Service was seriously outstanding-Cailin was attentive from start to finish, making sure everything was just right. My husband and I stopped for a quick snack on a Friday night. Love the vibe. Staff are super friendly and show up at table before I even knew I needed them. There is one issue though. We had the Hamburger sliders, 4. We expected the Hamburger to be fresh, juicy, flavorful. Well no- they were dry and not very flavorful. If food was better I'd go to 5 stars

So disappointed! First time coming in, ordered food was ok, but my most disappointing complaint is I ordered a french dip togo with no cheese, the bag was stapled closed so there for you expect a food runner or high end kitchen staff over viewed order prior to stapling bag prior to taking togo order to table. Did not get aju sauce with french dip togo. When i called, the host or who ever answered said sorry, we are busy, you can come back and get it. We stopped here to meet a friend for lunch. We sat on the patio because it was so gorgeous outside. It was really hopping inside but we could easily chat and enjoyed our conversation and lunch together outside. The hubby and I enjoyed the Alaskan fish dinner. Our friend did not really enjoy the too dry cheeseburger but we all enjoyed the thin cut fries. Our server Virginia took great care of us and made sure our drinks remained full. Give them a try!

The food is always good quality and the service is great. Kim has been our server a few times and she's friendly, professional and makes it a good experience for our Friday night happy hour with my family members. It's all about the experience! We also like the vibe. Good music, sports and it's a good crowd of diverse people just out for a great meal.

We frequent here for brunch. Never had very good service. Today was a completely different experience. Kayleen was our waitress and she was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. Very attentive, kind, welcoming, and friendly. If this restaurant hired more waitresses like her they might have more patrons! Thanks for a great brunch Kayleen!

Stopped for dinner on Saturday evening. Wasn't busy when we walked in. Horrific wait time once we were seated. Waitress had no sense of urgency. Food was mediocre at best. Just avoid it and go to Barrio Queen or basically anywhere else in Desert Ridge.
