This is a classic Mexican restaurant with all of the assumed Tex mex favorites. The food is delicious and we usually order the beef fajitas which are huge and very flavorful. We love the warm tortillas and butter they bring to the table with your chips and salsa. I wish the margaritas were stronger and the interior of the restaurant was a little better kept up but overall a very delicious restaurant!
My daughter and her friend were visiting from Maryland. My wife and I took them to Mercado Juarez for lunch. We're glad we did. The food was awesome and the portions were huge. I took them there to eat in an authentic Tex Mex Restaurant and were glad we chose Mercado Juarez. Excellent food, authentic atmosphere and a fair price.
The best fajitas in town Love this place the food and service is always good Have been here many times and never disappointed
The first time I ate at Mercado Juarez, was way before I ever heard of Yelp, or even the concept of leaving reviews on some new fangled thing called "The Internet." I quickly became a fan, and found the pork fajitas to be my "go to" order. So I was quite thrilled when I saw this is also a lunch special option (see photo). My fajitas totally lived up to my expectation, and the good memory of Mercado Juarez was rekindled. Thuy had some other lunch special, also featuring pork, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sorry my that photo... read more
Armando was the best waiter he was right on top of things if were low on water or soft drinks he was there with refills they have homemade flour tortillas so good and are free and the combo chicken and beef fajitas are good
I pulled over in the parking lot to check my emails and I wandered into Mercado Juarez Cafe for dinner. What luck! I gave up meat for lent, so it was fish or enchiladas, I went with the Ceviche of the appertivos menu. The first thing to show up was the chips and salsa, both are home made and the salsa is full bodied and served warm along with warm chips, which I prefer to the chilled watery type. Next the chilled Large mug of Budlight with icey brew. Not too shabby When the ceviche is served, it's on a plate in 3homemade ... read more
I've been here a few times over the years and have always had good dining experiences. The warm salsa with fresh chips are something I always look forward to. The margaritas are good and strong, well for me anyway. I came in yesterday for National Margarita Day. Frozen strawberry margarita for $3.75. I'm almost embarrassed to say it but one was enough for me. It doesn't take much to get me tipsy. As for the food, it's served hot and fresh. While I really enjoy the charro beans, I find the rice just ok. The peas and carrots... read more
My father use to bring me here when I was child. Great memories, great food, and the Best Salsa in town! The Wednesday lunch special is the Bomb! Steak Tampiqueno Steak, marinated & mesquite charboiled with poblano sauce & jack cheese. Served with a cheese & onion enchilada topped with chili beef sauce, Spanish rice & refried beans. My waitress Victoria was awesome!
Awesome food! The best chips and Salsa I have ever had. The enchiladas are grand, The Tacos Al Carbon chicken are the bomb fresh off the grill! Beans are wonderful and I do not eat beans.. The drinks are amazing.
