Consistently excellent food and service. Has been a family gathering location for years. The tortilla soup is always a "pick me up" and the fajitas are always perfect. Also, now they have sweet tea!

It's right off the I-35W. The food you assume is going to be pretty good based on the size and the fact that it's crowded. The food is mediocre. The tamales are good, and the charro beans are good. The rice lacks flavor, the chicken is weird and no corn tortillas available. The salsa tastes like tomato sauce with bouillon added in for flavor. I added lemon and a bit of salt to help but it still lacks that zing. Nothing here packs any heat or flavor.

The food was excellent. I had the Durango plate. The tamale was fantastic. The salsa and chips were really good. Our server was a nice gentleman who took good care us. We got there within happy hour so me and a coworker got the house margaritas, on the rocks with salt. They were pretty small, but it was happy hour, so...ya know. My other coworker got a virgin strawberry daiquiri. Not very sweet, so just know that before getting it. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in the Ft. Worth area.

My husband and I recently had an errand in North Fort Worth and he suggested Mercado Juarez. I hadn't been in years and years and wasn't excited about the idea but figured "why not?" What a delightful surprise! My expectations were low, but they shouldn't have been. The food was tasty and we received it promptly. Most notably, the service was excellent. We had an attentive, experienced server who didn't hover but was available when we needed her. We've dined at much fancier places recently, but the service at Mercado Juarez... read more

We wanted to go out and get something to eat after driving all day. Traffic was terrible so we walked from our hotel to the Juarez Cafe. It was across the street. Decor is old and the whole place could use a facelift. But, the food was great. I had the pork fajitas. They were tender and flavorful. The tortillas were fresh and hot. Our server was wonderful .

I and my family love this place. Great options for apps and several are authentic Mexican ingredients/style rather than standard TexMex. I almost almost always get steak fajitas, and Mercado is the standard I measure all others against. Superb Margarita choices as well. I could easily make a meal of the chips and salsa. Friendly servers.

Shout out to Mercado Juarez Restaurant!!!! We stopped by there after brunch at H3 to buy their delicious jarred salsa, $3/jar, and were 15 minutes before they opened. They were so accommodating and sold me 12 jars even though they weren't open for business yet! I love to keep this on hand over the holidays to give as small gifts to neighbors, coworkers, teachers, postal workers. The salsa is addicting!

Always a good time at Mercado- the food is always so good and the prices are reasonable I can NEVER finish all my plate . Got the Durango and by the time I got the plate after sharing some queso with the yummy tortillas I could only eat my taco!! No worries I have a full meal to take home. (Beans, rice, enchilada and a tamale!!) I got the small house frozen Margarita and it was delish too!(only 5.95) My daughter got dessert and she said it was delish too. Her husband is Hispanic and had never been here before and said he... read more

Love this place! I'm able to work around food allergies. We also appreciate the COVID protocols in place. The tables are not right never to each other!
