Took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner. We had 2 cocktails... which I don't remember the name but I did share the photo. HOMEMADE HOUSE PASTA; the way the server was describing it sounded so good, when it arrived presentation was how it sound, but it wasn't as flavorful as I expected, I was disappointed by this pasta. HOUSE STEAK SPECIAL; this was an awesome steak, cooked medium like we asked, mash potatoes soft and creamy. Great service. Towards the restroom there is a funny/humorous sign which favors the a la... read more
This will also appear on Yelp and Tripadvisor. We thoroughly enjoyed this stylish and comfortable restaurant on White Settlement Road, close enough to the action on W7th, but far enough away that we were not surrounded by all the hubbub. We were seated politely and quickly, and our server was very prompt and engaging. He introduced us to the concept of the restaurant well: fresh, seasonal food made only with readily available, fresh ingredients. The cocktail list was inventive, and for me, who wanted the driest of martin... read more
Best bone marrow ever tasted. I recommend this place to anybody. Staff is great. A lil pricey but worth it. The place is really cool place to kick it with friends. Not for children no kids menus.
My wife and I have always struggled to find excellent food that is paired with authenticity and warm service. Usually one comes at the expense of the other. However, at Clay Pigeon, we were able to have both! The staff and design of the space creates an inviting atmosphere, and the food from start to finish was outstanding. Highly recommend for special occasions!
I had an excellent experience last week at Clay Pidgeon after having my doubts about the menu prior to my arrival. The menu lacks depth, so I was concerned. My concerns were unfounded. In fairness, there is at least "one of everything in the meat category (beef, lamb, poultry, fish, foul, and pork)", so most people would find the selection to be adequate. More importantly, and the reason I rate Clay Pigeon five stars, the service was spot-on and every dish was perfect. I was with a party of six and among us, I think we ord... read more
It was my birthday and my husband wanted to take me to a place we hadn't been. He had heard about Clay Pigeon looked at the menu and was excited about surprising me. We thought it was an upscale restaurant so dressed up. Some people were there in shorts so you can go casual. We were given a table by a drape. Behind the drape was a large very noisy party. We almost left because we had wanted a romantic evening and we couldn't even hear each other talk. The wait person offered to move us but it would have been loud anywhere. W... read more
Best meal my husband and I have had in Fort Worth so far. We sat on the patio which was the perfect atmosphere. The bone marrow was an amazing starter. I had the catch of the day with red snapper and my husband had the lamb chops. I don't think we spoke a word while eating we enjoyed it so much! Great cocktails to match the delicious food and pecan pie to end the night. Truly fantastic experience!
I want to make it clear that the service was amazing. I would return for drinks but pass on the food. This was my first time eating here and I was hoping all the hype was true. Sadly, it was a real let down and costly one as well. My wife and I decided to have an early dinner here and got started with some shared plates. The Duck Confit Flatbread sounded amazing! You cannot go wrong with mushrooms, leeks, ricotta, and duck confit; but this was an example of blandness. The duck was chewy and similar to jerky. It was a rea... read more
I liked the restaurant, it's food and the atmosphere. The food was delicious and well presented. I liked the interior design. It is a classy place. This place reminded me a restaurant in San-Francisco. If you want to have dinner here on Friday-Sunday, then you should call to make reservation. The prices are pretty adorable. The service was perfect. I definitely recommend this place.
