I was visiting my boyfriend who is stationed in the area about a month ago and he says to me get on "the Yelp" and find something that you want to try. Pick this place on a whim because it seems so similar to our place out on the East Coast that we've been going to since we started dating over 2 years ago for special occasions. Little did I know how much of a special occasion this night would be. After the meal we ended up walking around downtown Fort Worth and I got engaged to the love of my life but back to the food. Do w... read more

The wife and i came here for our 6th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. The outside of the building does no justice to the amazing inside and it's aura. Pricing was expensive but it's what you expect when eating at an establishment like that. Service was amazing. Our server, Alyssa I believe, seemed to be waiting on all her tables hand and foot. Food was amazing. This is a great place for a couples getaway meal. Just understand your going to pay for the service and food. Would definitely come back!

Wow - what an amazing little gem! Two girlfriends and I made a reservation for dinner and decided to enjoy our meal family style. Our server was amazing - so warm, friendly and just fun! The atmosphere was warm, cozy and so comfortable too. We shared the pear and frisee salad, beet salad (one of my favorites), brussels sprouts, cauliflower, fig flatbread (amazing), rigatoni bolognese (rich and dreamy), ice cream...vanilla caramel swirl was amazing and my favorite and the fig and apple crostada. I love that everything wa... read more

We were in desperate need of some bone marrow. Happened to stumble upon this place. Unbelievable! The bartender was the greatest and the food was superb. Pricey....but well worth the money spent.

We usually eat "fancy" meals in downtown/uptown Dallas, but since I've been raving about all the great places around 7th, my husband asked me to pick out a place down this way for a date night. Everything we ate was delicious, and our waitress was warm and attentive. Food/drink: * Old fashions with Buffalo Trace - awesome! * Watermelon salad with goat cheese & tomato - OMG. I don't even like tomato! * Shrimp & grits - not a lot of grits + GIANT shrimp you had to peel (I think that's gross but it was my husband's entree and... read more

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I love that there is a restaurant in Fort Worth serving fresh, seasonal ingredients. I'm a vegetarian so I had the wedge salad (without meat), and they made me a special pasta dish that was delicious. Two people at our table said the steak was one of the best steaks they had ever had, and the halibut was a hit as well. Also our wine was mmmmmm. Can't recommend highly enough.

Rub me in salt baby, and plenty of it!!! I think that was on the mind of the cook making our dishes. Needless to say we ate enough salt to make up for the 2 days of sweat loss in the Texas heat. What I think CP does best is food at its simplest. No overwhelming sauce to take away from the flavor and quality of the ingredients. While everything was a tad bit salty, all dishes were cooked to perfection. Bone marrow was smooth and beefy. Duck breast cooked to perfection of medium raw. The ragu, was just ok. For me the pasta w... read more

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner. We had 2 cocktails... which I don't remember the name but I did share the photo. HOMEMADE HOUSE PASTA; the way the server was describing it sounded so good, when it arrived presentation was how it sound, but it wasn't as flavorful as I expected, I was disappointed by this pasta. HOUSE STEAK SPECIAL; this was an awesome steak, cooked medium like we asked, mash potatoes soft and creamy. Great service. Towards the restroom there is a funny/humorous sign which favors the a la... read more

This will also appear on Yelp and Tripadvisor. We thoroughly enjoyed this stylish and comfortable restaurant on White Settlement Road, close enough to the action on W7th, but far enough away that we were not surrounded by all the hubbub. We were seated politely and quickly, and our server was very prompt and engaging. He introduced us to the concept of the restaurant well: fresh, seasonal food made only with readily available, fresh ingredients. The cocktail list was inventive, and for me, who wanted the driest of martin... read more
