The first time we tried Clay Pigeon was last year for our anniversary. The bone marrow hardly had any marrow, it was basically a charred bone. We were so confused why so many people were raving about it. The steak special that night was also very tough and the duck was too chewy. Overall we had a so-so meal and left very disappointed. I wanted food that would sooth my entire being, after a very long day in the operating room, observing a physician that went from one surgery to another. The chef of the Clay pigeon delivered. The summer salad was refreshing, the fish I had with mashed potatoes was so delicious and it just melted in my mouth, and the desert was so tasty. Exactly what I desired.
I could just type "bone marrow, duck and wine" over and over again because I could eat it over and over again. I know I have enjoyed others things but this is the best line up in Fort Worth.
Not sure why I never left a review! This place is absolutely amazing! We moved from Fort Worth and wish we had the opportunity to come back again. I believe the owner of this place is the same as Piatello, which is one of our fav restaurants in the world! The service is amazing and the food is so fresh and absolutely delicious!
My fav Ft Worth restaurant. Food and service: outstanding. Fish, lamb, veggies, bone marrow, pot de creme. Matthew and staff are lovely to work with. Nice back patio. Outstanding!
Everything was excellent- from the attentive service to the wonderful food. Portions were so large we had to bag some up for lunch the next day. Mussels were great for an appetizer and the pasta air the dry and grilled duck could not have been better- on top of that we enjoyed a bottle of Monday 1/2 price wine - can't go wrong w this place
Holy AMAZING! The staff, food and cocktails were perfect. Such fresh and positively clean flavors in everything we had. Highly recommend the porterhouse. This is by far the best restaurant in Fort Worth area!
Where to start, this place is flat out Amazing! I had a large party for my husband's birthday but wanted it to be intimate and a great experience for all. Clay Pigeon did not disappoint. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate us. On the day of the service was impeccable and the food, omg the food!
