We had dinner here last Friday night, 27 April. While we appreciate the use of local ingredients and the food was mostly very good, the overall experience did not live up to the price. We had the quail appetizer, house pasta with sausage, and pan roasted salmon. This was all good, though much of it was a bit bland - especially the quail. The proportions were fairly small (not a problem), so we had dessert. I can't recall what we had, but one was very bland and the other had too much of a bitter chocolate taste. Our sit... read more
Came w a large party for dinner. The ambience and the vibe of the restaurant is nice, good place to chat for dinner (not loud at all). The appetizers we had were delicious. I've never had bone marrow before or knew what to really expect. It was so good and buttery on bread. The soup was also very tasty. The beef tartar and salmon dip were okay, nothing really special about them. For dinner, I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly w a side of asparagus. The shrimp & grits were also super good. Overall, enjoyed the restaur... read more
Talk about everything the millennial, baby boomers, and in-betweeners can get on board with. Clay Pigeon has a rustic farmhouse feel with a seasonal menu (along with some fan favorites that stay year-round) of some of the most delicious food concoctions. I would call this dining experience a culinary adventure of the senses. The decorations are adorable, homey and yet elegant. The kitchen is open and bustling with amazing smells and sights coming from left and right. The service is on point, you are king for a day, so si... read more
Fantastic food, a creative twist on favorites that is fresh but familiar. There isn't a bad seat in the house. If the weather is nice I highly recommend the patio, it's gorgeous. Inside there is plenty of atmosphere and character also. If you aren't sure what you want don't be afraid to ask the wait staff or bartenders. We arrived early and sat at the bar. The bartender mixed us up some delicious drinks and talked to us about the menu in such detail we really didn't have to look much when we were seated. To be honest we look... read more
Ok so we had the bone marrow, foie gras and beef tartare... Every one of them was the best version of each dish that I have ever tasted and I've had MANY. My daughter had the mac & cheese and liked it but i was not impressed. We had one cocktail that was labelled the cocktail for the servers or something like that, it was too weak and watery for us and the prices are super high for drinks. The food scene in Fort Worth is mostly dismal so this place is a highlight. **Correction** The beef tartare, I have had better but it's s... read more
Amazing food! I had the Redfish, and it was so delicious! My boyfriend had a steak with Mac n cheese. We both left fully satisfied!
What a wonderful restaurant. We sat on the patio and thuroughly enjoyed ourselves. Food was top-notch and service was impeccable. Can't wait to return!
Great drinks, great food. Gave me the meat sweats. 10/10 would eat the meat again. Seriously. I'm sweating right now, and my tummy is stuffed, but TOTALLY worth it. Great way to celebrate my fantasy football championship.
Service was terrific. The food was not all so great. I'd say for sure it was overpriced for the meals. Some was over cooked, while other dishes were underdone. We didn't complain, just wont go back. The service was attentive and our server had a great attitude.
