We ate at the Clay Pigeon celebrating my mom's birthday. It was our first time. We started with the Foie Gras, which was good. It was sweet, not savory as I was expecting, but still good. We then ordered the Bone Marrow, which came out burnt/charred. As a restaurant, I wouldn't serve it, but thats just me. With all the food it was lacking salt that could have brought out the flavor more. The Braised Pork Shank was okay, but needed salt. 5 Star Food, 5+ Star prices, 1 Star service. Humiliation served on a plate. This was my father's 82nd birthday. It was marked on the reservation. When the waitress came to the table (my father not present), she verified that we were celebrating a birthday. At the dessert course we reminded her it was a birthday party.
