My favorite place in Dallas / Fort Worth. Proves that Yelp is an incredible tool because I would have never known about "The Pigeon" without it. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Bartender was professional yet friendly. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Dallas.

Whenever I want to take my wife out for a nice dinner Clay Pigeon is always top-of-mind. As other reviewers have said, if you're coming in Thursday-Saturday you should make a reservation. Although, if you're able to grab a spot at the bar you can always eat there, as well. Food-wise, I've never had a bad meal there and almost always get bone marrow for an appetizer and then usually go with one of the specials of the day. The secret is out! A group of us ate at the Clay Pigeon when they first opened about six years ago (unfortunately, they ran out of lobster... )but it was good then and now it's, IMO the best eclectic restaurant in Ft. Worth! It was Wednesday and thank goodness we had made reservations as the restaurant was busy. Woody, our exceptional server, knows the menu well. His personal advice on specials did not disappoint. Dinner was absolutely delicious. The server was friendly and gave great recommendations. I tried their new pumpkin cocktail and was blown away. We never had a bite we did not enjoy. Ambience was very nice. And the gentleman at valet had Venmo so we could tip him. Will definitely return!
Best dinner we've had in Fort Worth by far. Everything was great from the drinks to dessert, service and ambience, they did not disappoint. The salmon dip is a must try! This place could definitely be a hit it in Los Angeles hands down!!

EVERYTHING we had here was amazing! The bone marrow, Bibb salad (like an upgraded wedge salad), green chile and corn pasta of the day, halibut over grits, and duck. It was all a little salty but the flavors were incredible and complimentary and made you want to eat every last bite. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
