I hate to say it, but I think the family's kind of over this place. Our second time there for my mom's bday. The first time, we assumed we had an odd experience since the cook wasn't right on the eye of ribeye or the salmon. Figured the main chef was off for the night or something, just a missfire. Second visit, I have to admit it wasn't much better. I got the eye of ribeye again - again the meat just wasn't very flavorful perhaps because it was overdone? I ordered temp as chef recommends so I can't see why it would have bee... read more

RUN - don't walk to this place RIGHT NOW!! I'll start by saying that I have been a fan of the Pigeon from day one. I am always blown away by the superior service and incredible food, but our last visit was one to write home about. Now, this is just a personal preference, but you MUST ask for Matthew to be your server - BEST SERVER EVER (Please don't be offended if you have waited on me before). Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of everything, but I'll walk you though all of our fabulous choices. As a side note, we like to ... read more

The true definition of fine dining. We were BLOWN AWAY. From the ambiance, Eileen our server was so attentive, truly cared about our satisfaction and SO personable. FOOD: Mussels were to die for, wish that broth could be bottled up and purchased separately! Same with the potato croquettes, best I have every had. The beet and strawberry salad was an all inclusive experience - sweet, salty, tangy and crunchy! Main course I ordered the ribeye which was cooked TO PERFECTION, accompanied by HOMEMADE pasta Mac and cheese (I know)... read more

Went to Clay Pigeon for dinner and had a mixed experience with the food, which is why I give it 3 stars. I enjoyed half the items ordered and didn't enjoy one of the main entrees or my drink. The ambiance of the place is nice, chill vibes, ambient lighting, not to loud. I'd recommend this restaurant for a date night or elder family dinner. I wouldn't come here if you're a vegetarian, they didn't have any items besides the salads. This is definitely a meat eater/wild game eater heaven. We ordered the catch of the day and... read more

Had reservations for a Friday night. I ended up getting there a bit early and decided to sit at the bar as I waited for my friend. Immediately I was greeted by the two most amazing bartenders ever, Michael and Akeem! They were extremely friendly, very accommodating and knowledgeable about not only the menu but the different drink options. I arrived during the Sparkling Hour where bottles of sparkling wine were half off along with some appetizers. I knew my friend and I would probably start off with that so I waited till she ... read more

We don't go out often these days due to the pandemic but we chose to go to Clay Pigeon for my fiancé's birthday. I'm not drinking alcohol right now and they offered to make me a mocktail, which was excellent. I told the bar tender to have fun with it and they did a fun take on a margarita for me! My fiancé had the "what the chef drinks" and a bottle of the Peregrine Pinot Noir from NZ. He said it was delicious. We ordered the beef tar tar with sunchokes and the croquettes to start. Licked the damn plate. I ordered the house ... read more

Really is a 4.5. This is a very unassuming spot. The outside doesn't make you want to go running in, but it was night time when we went. The inside has a rustice feel. They are taking CoVid precautions seriously. We didn't a reservation and the hostess said the next one was 8:45. It was 7:10 and we were hungry. She said if we could get there in 15-20 minutes, she could save us 2 spots at the bar. Thank you! We sat at the bar where Michael and Ahkeem took care of us. I don't think we could have been in better hands. Akheem ... read more
