We couldnt wait to dine here! It was okay but definitely didnt meet our expectations. The atmosphere was nice except we wished there wasnt a TV at the bar. The service was lovely and drinks were good too. We had the tartare and it was phenomenal, the croquettes were great, and the citrus and avocado salad was great but there were like 30 pieces of citrus and 3 pieces of avocado. Then we got to the main course and it was sad. We both ordered 2 different types of steak but they were SO salty we couldnt even taste the flavor of... read more
Coming from NYC this place is Wonderful!! The food and staff were brilliant! Can't recommend this place enough! I took 28 people to the restaurant and they all fell in love with the place and food. The Steak and Fresh catch was unbelievable.
The very best meal my husband and I have ever had! The center cut and seared ribeye was perfectly cooked. My father said his short ribs were perfectly wonderful, as well. The mashed potatoes and mushrooms were so good as were the cocktails. Exceptional waiter and bartender. Hoping this becomes one of our regular spots when visiting!
The service was fantastic as well as the food! The appetizers were the best part, but the wine was delicious! Bone marrow, tartare and Spinalis were hands down the best items
Excellent food, great wine, good ambiance. And our server, Ethan, was so friendly and informative about the dishes.
Too much style, not enough substance. They're trying to be something they're not, but apparently people still fall for it because it was quite busy. The forced (and completely unnecessary) valet parking is enough to keep me from returning. Valet parking should add convenience to the customer, not make it more awkward and difficult. Also, we're in the middle of a global pandemic so making one person get into everyone's car seems unsafe all around. We were the first to arrive and the lot was empty. I pulled into an open spot... read more
We visited Clay Pigeon to support a fraternity brother for our anniversary and were blown away by the entire experience. The peach and tomato burrata was incredibly delicious, homemade pasta with shrimp with a flavorful sauce, and a perfectly seared salmon that had just the right amount of spice that made me eat all of it. I can't recommend it highly enough due to not only the food but especially the service and attention to detail that we experienced.
Everything was great. Fried Green tomatoes with lobster was excellent. Bone marrow was good but it's a one time thing for me. Duck was delicious. Steak dish was fantastic. Mashed potatoes were tasty. And the pudding was great. It's not cheap but it's good.
We went to Clay Pigeon for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was fabulous!! So much fun and great service. Shrimp and pasta dish was amazing!!!
