Great food aside from overall ambiance! Steak fajitas and poblano queso are fantastic but over priced for Argyle. My biggest complaint is the complete darkness inside and club-like atmosphere. Even the patio is completely enclosed (no view of outside?) and pitch dark. Disappointed that it is not more inviting and family friendly considering the area- it belongs in downtown Dallas.

Chicken bone in chimichanga - discovered in my mouth after taking a bite. Not good. Prices are super inflated for food that was almost as good as other local Texmex places. Service was fine - the servers are maybe too attentive if anything. What's with the lights pulsing to the music - that was irritating. Great greeting at front door with the hostess. She asked if we were celebrating anything and we said yes, my wife's birthday. They seated us with a decorative lighted bottle to let our server know we were celebrating a birthday. (More on that later) Very dark inside. Takes a minute for your eyes to adjust. My 88 yr old mother in law almost tripped because she couldn't see where she was going. Service started out fantastic and diminished quickly toward the end. Who ever priced this menu should be ashamed. It's good food but grossly overpriced. You can find a much much better quality Tex Mex for prices that make sense in HV and Flo Mo. there's a serious problem with restaurants now where they just see how much they can charge bc unfortunately people are still paying for it. But Who ever made this menu is part of the problem. They are a new restaurant, sad that this is the new standard. I would highly encourage people spend their dollar elsewhere.

Great food, but you pay for it. $8 for a Non-alcoholic beer is nuts. If you're going during the day, adjust your eyes when entering - it's dark.

We ordered to go and we arrived right at the time we were told food would be ready. After we rec'd text that our food was ready it took 20 min to get our food and when we got home it was cold. We frequent all Marty B's restaurants and we're very disappointed in the service! Hope they can either hire the right people to fix this or we won't do takeout again.

Tried cactus Canyon for the first time today for me It just doesn't live up to the hype, I thought the food was not what I would expect. I ordered fish tacos. They were very greasy, and the fish had no flavor. Also had the white queso that wasn't white tasted more like melted Velveeta. I thought the prices were upscale, but the food was not, but the service was pleasant.

We gave this place a second try, even tho we went right after they opened and thought they were overpriced! The service is FANTASTIC ....... But the food leaves little to be desired! Flour tortillas are awful, like almost inedible! Hard but not crunchy like a crispy shell, more like stale old and cooked about 10 times over.
