My wife and I went to a 4:30 p.m. dinner one Saturday. There was a 10 minute wait...not bad for a Saturday. we were seated and my wife ordered a drink from the bar. The glass came with a big chip in the rim which we returned! Because of the price, we ordered the Fajita for two. It came however there were no serving pieces furnished. We showed up at 5:30 on a Friday. Was told 15-30 min wait. Ended up being like 35-40 minutes. Not a big deal. I ordered the beef tacos. They were dry and bland. No salsa on them, no sauce, no crema. Just beef and some veggies. Tortillas were meh. Atmosphere felt like Vegas. Extremely loud and very hard for my father and I to be able to have a conversation. Cactus Canyon has almost all the right ingredients, but there's still something missing. The atmosphere is great, the service is good, but the portions are out of sync with the prices. Fajita Combo (for two): $48 I forget how much the delicious queso blanco appetizer was, but the serving was barely enough for four people. The fajitas had more onions and peppers than protein. There was less than a half pound of meat on the platter...for two people. I left wanting more, but not wanting to pay that much again.

Food was great. Service was great. Price is WAY too high for this type of menu. We can find similar quality service and food in some of the other restaurants in the area for 30% less cost.

This is unfortunately a miss for the Marty B restaurants. The food and drinks are overpriced. For an upscale Mexican restaurant, they have only a few Tequilas, and none that are notable. They have steak on the menu, and none steak knives available. Also, the veggie quesadillas are not cooked correctly, they had cold veggies inside. They need major improvements for me to return. Quite possibly my least favorite atmosphere of ANY restaurant I EVER been to. The food was acceptable, nothing special but at least it was 50% more expensive than other similar restaurants in the area. The seating was so tight that I was extremely uncomfortable throughout the meal. Add to that a blaring cacophony of noise through the loudspeaker system and oh my god, I couldn't get out of there fast enough! Felt like I was in a disco tech from the '90s in Europe. Busy and on a wait at 4pm on Saturday so plan to be there a while. Decor is more upscale and modern and quite nice. Music is way too loud and makes it hard to enjoy the people you came to share a meal with. Hostess staff skirts awful short. Booth (away from the windows) were very tight and uncomfortable. Like a tight pair of pants. Didn't make you want to relax and eat.

Food was great and prompt but lord, the upsetting was disgusting. Very pushy, constant checking in. And the music!! So loud and over the top. Might as well be a bar. I'd rather drive down to Dallas or more refined place for the price and ambiance.

The atmosphere is awful. Came in for the first time and the place is so dark you can't see, the music is so loud I can't hear a word the waiters are saying. It feels like a night club. You have to yell to each other at the same table just to hear what anyone is saying. I can only eat one item on the menu, so not sure about the food's rating. But the overall atmosphere is very agitating. I felt the music in my chest the whole time.
