My friend and I would never go to this restaurant again based on poor customer service. We were seated in a dark dining room. We had to use the small table lamp over the menu to see. The waiter was almost obnoxious with his attitude. We stated this was the first time at this restaurant and we were hungry. We've been to 1845 several times. This most recent visit was the first disappointment. The poblano meatballs never disappoint. My wedge salad had next to zero dressing on it. I asked, and was brought more, but that should have been noticed before it was brought out. Our filet was ordered rare plus, but was actually on the far end of medium rare. No stars!!!!Terrible service! When check came he had overcharged us, then while we were looking at bill, server came back and immediately said oh, I think I charged you for extra salad. Really, how did he know if he deliberately did it in hopes we'd just pay it and leave. Then idk perhaps manager came by asked how dinner was, response was "ok". she said great, so we need your table, can you'll leave. I wish I had my camera available I would have taken a photo. Food was ok. def not going back there! No stars!!!.

PRICE IS $$$ and the food was meh.... anytime you have to add sauce to eat the meat, it's a failure....

Tried to make a reservation for 18 people and they told me the minimum spend for our part would be $6500... that's $361 per person and the only exception would to have dinner at 5pm and be out of the restaurant before 7pm. We are having a sales kickoff meeting and playing golf at the Dallas cowboy course so a 5 pm dinner would not work. So if you have a big party I suggest Dino's... no room fee and order from the standard menu. This restaurant must be doing fantastic to turn down a $3,500 attempted reservation.

A terrible and rude manager ruined the experience. The wait staff was excellent and friendly. but the prices and the quality were poor to inedible. Overpriced chop shop reminded me of a stake and ale with none of the charm.
