We originally missed our reservation due to a last minute illness, I failed to cancel and was promptly charged a 50.00 fee. I felt it was a stiff fine for missing therefore I reached out to the restaurant to voice my dissatisfaction in the amount charged. The next morning I heard from the GM, Jaclyn Snailer about the issue and she said I would hear from them with a resolution, later in the day I received a call from Chris, one of the managers and he refunded the charge. My wife and I visited 1845 Taste Texas for the first time. Ava was our server and did a fabulous job. My wife had the filet, I had the redfish. Both were outstanding. Will certainly be back.

Took my partner here with all his friends waiting as a surprise dinner, and overall everything was amazing! The ambiance was dim lighting and a good variety of music (all from texas artists). They also did great at "hiding" the rest of our party at a table further back (per my request) so my partner didn't see them right away. Our server jayden was super sweet and helpful. Professional write " My first experience 1845 steakhouse was amazing! I was worried about it being it being too casual as i wasn't due to My disability. We were greeted at the door with friendly staff. While Waiting Chris the bar manager introduce himself to us and let us know that our table would be shortly and had pleasant conversation in the meantime.
