Amazing food, polite staff and super consistent experience. I have taken many out of town guests here and all have raved about it. The filet is tops and the drinks menu is always great.

Yes to the pork chop - it's stupid big, in a good way. Well smoked and tender. The truffle fries amazing. Good amount of truffle oil that will keep you tasting it over and over again, lol! My spouse had the Texas strip (like a NY strip, but we are in Texas, after all) and was probably one of the better cuts of steak she's had. The place is pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Dined at 1845 Texas a couple of times in the past. Always a good experience. Happy Hour this time was just as nice. Since the non-happy hour apps looked more appealing we tried a couple of those too. Also took advantage of the 1/2 price wine by the glass. The pork belly, smoked salmon and smoked wings (HH) were all very good. Service was great as is the atmosphere.

Great steaks!! Celebrated our anniversary the other evening and food and service was excellent! Don't underestimate the side dishes... all are great. Definitely our go-to steak place!

We originally missed our reservation due to a last minute illness, I failed to cancel and was promptly charged a 50.00 fee. I felt it was a stiff fine for missing therefore I reached out to the restaurant to voice my dissatisfaction in the amount charged. The next morning I heard from the GM, Jaclyn Snailer about the issue and she said I would hear from them with a resolution, later in the day I received a call from Chris, one of the managers and he refunded the charge. My wife and I visited 1845 Taste Texas for the first time. Ava was our server and did a fabulous job. My wife had the filet, I had the redfish. Both were outstanding. Will certainly be back.
