Excellent choice for a special occasion. We made reservations at 17:30 hours. Service was great, our experience with the service staff and manger was amazing. The food was excellent, a bit too smoky on the ribeye, other than that we enjoyed. I will definitely recommend 1845 to family and friends. The vibe was on point upon arrival and the atmosphere was fantastic for a special treat during the week. Highly recommend 1845 for your local steak and awesome pork chops dinner. We'll see yall soon...

My expectation will be that the food will always be done well and extremely tasty at 1845, as the prices set my expectations. I have never been disappointed. Atmosphere is a bit noisy for my preference, but I expect that many people enjoy the vibe. Service is top notch as well. The hostess visited our table multiple times to check on our service and meal.

Update: I would like to update this review to note that a manager reached out to me both here and via phone, and while we haven't yet chatted, I sincerely appreciate his effort and thoughtfulness in doing so! Thank you! I almost never leave reviews--certainly not bad ones--but after our visit Sunday night I feel compelled to in the hopes that a manager will see it. Excellent service from our waiter Bailey. The appetizers were good. We had the meatballs. A touch too smoky but good flavors and texture. Also had the queso. Was good but not much quantity. I had the Texas strip steak. Cooked perfectly. My side was au gratin potatoes. Very tasty but a touch salty. My wife had the salmon which she loved as well as the mushroom side dish and jalapeño Mac and cheese. She said they had great flavors but a little salty. 1845 Taste of Texas knocked it out of the park with their pork chop! Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection--it literally melted in my mouth. The sides complemented it beautifully, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a must-try for anyone craving authentic Texas flavors!

Not the best, not the worst , not as good as they think they are. Very friendly nice staff , starts to fall off from there . Our table being in the back corner even with a reservation didn't help, walking down the long hall way past dozens of booths then sitting at a table gave it a cafeteria vibe . Great waitress explained how the setting was all Texas - Texas music and Texas artists with art work on walls . My wife's cousin and her husband came up from San Antonio and wanted us to meet them here for dinner. (They chose this spot) Anywho, we ordered some cocktails and appetizers to start off. The appetizer was good, but only one of the cocktails shined in my eyes and that was the Clyde Barrow. The Bonnie Parker was too sweet for my liking. The food was fresh and flavorful. We had the ribeye and filet, both were cooked as we had ordered. The sweet potatoes was a perfect pairing with the steaks. The service was on point.
