We ate here twice in the last month. Really good food with a wide variety of cultures and styles. Happy hour was a bonus, LOTS OF BEERS ON TAP!!! We sat outside both times and were seated in the shade, both times had prompt servers who went the extra mile to cater to our 2yo and brought a plate of sliced oranges. Be sure you book a reservation and remember to bring your mask in these Covid times...

I personally love thirsty lion there food is great when they actually take the time to make it correct and their restaurant isn't big and spacious. Overall I would recommend trying it if you have time

Had high hopes. Served warm tap water in a bottle. Cute idea....water should be cold. Scotch eggs were good, sauce was to vinegary. Calamari was good ( can't screw up frozen in to a deep fryer ) sauces served with it were good. Husband ordered chipotle Mac and cheese - literally had no flavor. He also ordered the pepperoni pizza. We've been coming to the Thirsty Lion for almost five years now. We live local. Used to be a couple of times a week and then every two weeks when they lost some of their best wait staff. Today we tried to go social distance now that Washington county opened. Emails from them request masks when not eating and socially distancing. And enhanced cleaning. Not one customer in a mask. I like this place. I used to bring clients here and would order some sushi rolls and scotch eggs! So good and the only place I know where you can get both! Lol! The prices are a little high, but the service is great and atmosphere is a little higher than the standard, so I'd say it's worth it. If you're going to stop in with a friend for lunch or a drink, I'd recommend their burgers and sandwiches. They're monster sized and delicious.

Thirsty Lion has some great dishes and today was no different but what was very different was the absolute poor service my wife and I received at lunch today. I found it very difficult to even leave a 10 percent tip. Two things I've come to expect at TL. One, great unique dishes and two, awesome service. We we're almost done with our meal before she even came by to see how we were. She twice walked by our table ignoring us but asking the folks sitting in booths how everything was. The brunch at thirsty lion is actually nice, haven't been disappointed. However, the hostess Casey is a little brass maybe too early for her, possibly hadn't had her coffee ‍ she literally just tossed the drink coasters in front of us as she walked up to our table like she dealing cards...Again the food is good and the bloody Mary's were excellent!!

This place is soooo goood. Little spendy, but worth it! If your someone who likes spicy food and good drinks then this is the place for you !
