I really wanted to like this place, but I ordered on the app, showed up on time, called to tell them I was there and they said they'd be right out. After 34 minutes, 2 additional calls, and walking in, they finally brought out the food. Took over an hour to order and get my "to-go" order. By the time we got the food, 2 of the 3 things ordered were cold and had clearly been sitting the entire time. Worse part is that they didn't say anything or say they were sorry for the wait. Sounds like business as usual.

Went to Thirsty Lion while visiting my family in Portland, we all had different things and they were all delicious. Heather was our server and made the meal very pleasant, willing to do what ever we needed. Definitely she went the extra mile. So glad we tried this restaurant and will be back when I return to Portland.
Steve/Steven was the most awesome waiter ever and was so greatly appreciated after a long work work. I'll be visiting again just to be served by him. Also the food was cooked on point and everything was very timely for it being extremely busy. Thank you

Last night I went to the Thirsty Lion with my family and right away we were greeted with kindness, thank you for being prompt with our reservation. We are new to the area and have never been to this restaurant before and this definitely won't be our last. We took some suggestions from our waitress. This seems like a place I would frequent if I lived close by. I really enjoy the pub feel - dark wood overtones, high and low tables, the yellow lighting it has a cozy feel. Even sitting by the kitchen wasn't distracting as there was enough space and room servers came and went without issue. The service was stellar. Our waitress was kind, prompt, and gracious. Great atmosphere, tasty menu. That bistro burger is no joke. So good! Recommend heading over there for brunch and getting mimosas by the bottle. Every server I've had there so far has been friendly and professional.

This has become one of our weekend go to places for breakfast. My two favorite items are the chicken and waffles and the chiliquilles. Good coffee and atmosphere.

This is the third time we've come here with my partner and her family and my experience has been getting better each visit. Our food this last time was quite exceptional, today I ordered their Jalapeno Pepperjack Burger with fries, I had asked for their frysauce on the side too which I highly recommend - it's a slightly more spicy frysauce.
