Decided to give this a try tonight. The service was good and the food was ok but a little overpriced. It was fairly noisy inside and absolutely freezing as we were seated under a big vent. 4 stars as it felt overpriced based on the quality of our entrees. We probably won't go back as there are so many other restaurants we enjoy more.

Yuck for this time at Thirsty Lion. Microwaved meat for an $18 sandwich!!!! EW We've been here a few times and this time I ordered the Reuben. It was DISGUSTING. The meat was very obviously (I assume RE-heated) in the microwave. There is a very distinct flavor of meat being heated up in the microwave, and I can absolutely tell the difference. I made a reservation for me and my family to go here on a Sunday after seeing a movie at Desert Ridge. Thirsty lion is such a good place for large groups because they have a lot of seating and there truly is something for everyone on the menu. I made a reservation because it was Sunday at dinner time, but they actually weren't too busy, which was great. The food was just not delicious. The fish tacos, you couldn't even taste that there was fish (I had to remove all the cabbage before I could get to a few flakes of fish). The tortilla shells tasted stale. The ceviche didn't even taste like lime, lacked any salt and the shrimp were not cooked by lime, they were rubbery. The only saving grace was their burger that was decent but it was a burger. Meh...

We've been meaning to try this place for a while. Last night was finally time. Walking in, the place is dimly lit with a lot of TVs and loud but not roaring noise. It was a Tuesday evening, and the place was pretty busy, so that's saying something. My wife got the hibiscus lemonade (pictured). Now I like lemonade, but this punched me in the face. Everything was so good (we ordered a pretzel, the spicy sausage Mac and cheese and a gastropub burger. The service was tentative and nice.
