Came for happy hour. Limited menu. Service was good. Food and drink were below average. I believe they are only making it because of the location! I am local so I am looking for quality, even in high traffic/touristy areas. Would not come here again!
Went in sat at their bar table area for 10 minutes and was never served.the bar area was not busy #sunday #stockyards #
We had the corn bread, burger, trout, steak frites, and chicken fried steak. Everything was good but the price seemed to be too high for what the quality of the food was.
This restaurant was available when we couldn't get a table where we had planned to dine. We decided to sit at the bar for dinner. The bartender was super kind and helpful. The food was good, but not great. My husband said the fish was over battered. The grits on my dish were bland. The shrimp was more boiled and also bland. Everything looked great though and the restaurants was clean/nice. :) 4 stars for the bartender. I shan't return.
As a huge fan of the Clay Pigeon, I was excited to take guests here today for lunch. Made reservations for noon & was seated immediately since the dining room was empty. Started off with cocktails, they were good. Deviled eggs were rubbery and blah. Smoked trout dip had zero seasoning so we asked for salt and pepper. Super disappointing! The brisket thing was inedible and the drinks were the only redeeming thing, food was terrible
Service was pretty good, but the Food was not that impressive or live up to the hype.
We came to celebrate some milestones in my career and, unfortunately, we had a lackluster experience. We were quickly greeted and sat at a table on the second floor. Waters came out and drinks ordered without an issue. Then the troubles started. There was a delay getting our drinks after ordering them and then one of our drinks was incorrect, but not knowing how much longer it'd take for the drink to come out, we made do without it since we wanted to make a toast to celebrate. We had 6 of the 8 people in our party and we had to wait for everyone before seating. All 6 of us would have likely ordered a cocktail while seated but instead we all stood awkwardly in their very small entryway. Food then took forever and was only okay for the price. Very cool looking venue with neat decor.
