We ordered the lasagna, kids spaghetti and meatballs and the MAFALDINE CACIO E PEPE. 2 out of 10 for all 3 ! The only good thing I liked was the HOUSE RICOTTA & SOURDOUGH . I wouldn't waste my money coming back , sorry !

Piattello has been one of our go-to date spots for years, but our meal last night was very disappointing. We ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and the saffron linguine. Both were dry, bland, and sad compared to their previous standard. Hopefully it was just a bad night, but I doubt we'll return to find out. Two stars because the staff was friendly, and the drinks were good.

Terrible. Our food took well over 45 minutes to come out. We had two orders of the pork Milanese, which was super bland. I had the lobster ravioli. It tasted like someone dumped a whole bottle of nutmeg in it. We spent way too much on food that was just terrible. We will never go back.

The food was good, but the service was extremely poor. Getting takeout may be the best option. If you're wanting a lovely, relaxing, romantic evening, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The wait staff is unprofessional, flustered, and irritable.

This dining experience was rather disappointing. Went with my SIL at about 6, got to the hostess stand and they directed us to a tiny round table for 2 people. She asked if we could maybe have a larger table and they said no due to a lot of reservations being booked. (Which we understood). We proceeded to order 2 salads, quite a few items that were a la carte such as the broccolini, garlic bread, adding meatballs to entrées, the tiramisu, and an order to go. Too bad the staff here are unhappy, inexperienced, inadequate. The food is just ok to good. So personality and service matter. And I know restaurants are struggling right now and we always grant grace knowing that but this was ridiculous. My husband and I went in on a Tuesday at 5:55. There were at least 7 - 4 tops open but they chose to seat us at a tiny (and I mean tiny!) 2 top. Next to a baby. Just had my first experience this evening. Food is good but portions are tiny like minuscule. I requested manager take back my entree as the child's portion of pasta was not impressive. He didn't even to agree to remake it or add some pasta. Super disappointed. Did not have dinner today. Will never come back to this place.

We used to go to Piattello almost weekly. It was great. For the most part, the food still is. Unfortunately, we've had horrible service the last couple of times, so it doesn't really matter how good the food is. Our server rushed us the entire time, got my wife's order wrong and generally seemed like he couldn't wait for us to leave. Given how good this place used to be, it's really a shame. We'll probably give it a few months and try again, but absolutely not with the same server.

gave our dinner 2 stars only because the server was so nice. Food--one star. The salads were served on cold plates heaped with chilly stuff that had obviously been made hours earlier. Gem lettuce was gritty/ SANDY. my pasta was so salty I forced down just a few bites with the few very small, so-so quality shrimp provided. And I love salt.
