Piattello Italian Kitchen has quality entrees and probably the best Italian food in Fort Worth. This is coming from someone who has an Italian mother whose father was an Italian Restaurant owner for years in New Orleans. My wife and I recently returned from a 14 day trip throughout Tuscany and had very similar flavors here. Compliments to the Chef! Simply Awesome!
In my mind, this is the undisputed best Italian restaurant in Fort Worth. Handmade pastas and fresh ingredients make it special. Everyone I know is addicted to the ricotta dip with sourdough toast. Get the Sunday gravy if it is your first time. Even the chicken with salsa verde is exceptional. There are always a couple of fresh and unique items that are new daily. This is my favorite restaurant in Ft. Worth. Everything we've tried so far is unique, delicious, and tastes like it should cost $20 more. Please do yourself a favor and save room for the chocolate torte or pistachio cake.
Is 6 stars an option? Everything, I mean, everything was lights out - delicious. Been there a couple of times now. Very energetic staff. The pastas were very good. Had the pizzas a couple times there and they are nothing special. No real flavor to them. However, the Saffron linguine was AMAZING. Brussel sprouts were really good as well. Highly recommend it. A little pricey, but would come back again
I'm highly dissatisfied. I was so excited to try this place but ultimately was disappointed. They were rude, took 30 minutes to seat us WITH a reservation, we're NOT good with food allergies and gave my gluten free daughter a gluten plate after we clarified her allergies, as well as walked past our table numerous times while we had empty glasses. For the price of the food this service was horrendous. Save your time and money.

Took the wife out to celebrate Valentine's Day and just hang out, the sourdough bread that we got was super salty tasted like eating a handful of salt, the service was eh gone quick and rarely back even though the place wasn't super busy at the time, asks for a meloncello and got lemon though the wife insisted on not saying anything, lastly the main course. For our appetizer me and my boyfriend started with the meatballs, but they came out pretty cold. The staff was really kind and quick to bring us a new order but we were told it had been happening, which I thought was kind of strange for a restaurant like this. For our mains, we ordered the Lasagna and Fettuccine Alfredo. My boyfriend liked his lasagna but overall, we both thought dishes were just okay. I want to start off with the customer service and atmosphere are great. However, I was very disappointed in the food. It wasn't terrible, but it was way overpriced for the portion size and overall flavor. The calamari was mid at best. The caesar salad didn't taste like caesar at all, which is was bummed about. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and you can't swap the shrimp out for chicken without adding a $13 up charge which was absolutely insane to me.
