I drive by Mercado Juarez all the time, telling myself I should stop there. I was coming home from the airport the other night and there was an accident on 20, I decided, tonight is the night. Mercado Juarez is a great restaurant. We love bringing our family here because of the atmosphere. My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here over 6 years ago and we have been coming ever since.
Delicious! We met some traveling family members there and this place was able to seat a party of 8 in 30 mins. Our waiter was amazing and very attentive. The chips and salsa were good, the drinks came fast and so did the food. Each meal was hot and correct. I wasn't sure I would enjoy this place but this experience was such a positive one that o will be returning next time I'm in the area.
Mercado Juarez has been one of my favorite restaurants since the 80s. Best salsa, tortillas and fajitas around! I haven't been in several years due to moving. Had lunch fajitas today and everything was delicious just like old times!
The food was mediocre but the bar seating is awesome nice and low and the staff is very nice
I had not been to Mercado Juarez in years. The food was awesome! When we arrived they quickly came with chips, salsa and homemade flour tortillas! I forgot how good the salsa was. I had the grilled chicken with poblano sauce and cheese and it came with rice and grilled vegetables! It was all so good! My husband had the carne guisada with rice and beans! He was very pleased! The staff was very attentive and friendly. I definitely will be going back really soon!
Visited this restaurant because in the past, it was one of my favorites. Unfortunately this time, I left a but disappointed. I ordered the Durango special which is normally comprised of a beef enchilada, a pork tamale and a chicken taco. However on this occasion, I was able to substitute the taco for another enchilada. So far so good. My wife ordered a pomegranate swirl and I a strawberry margarita. My drink was so sour that even though I tried to fight through, I couldn't finish it. Home made flour tortillas!! Yummy also the steak fajitas were so juicy. Love the chips and salsa too. Really good margarita. I appreciate the option of a small or large.
