So, I used to be a Mercado Juarez lover and about year or so ago we went and it was terrible. I did not think I would ever go back. My pregnant daughter wanted it today and I decided I would give it a shot again. I'm glad I did. It was like it used to be. Chips, salsa, and fajitas were all excellent. The server was really great too. I'm glad my daughter had a craving for it because it forced me back in the door!

You most likely have to wait in line about 30 minutes during peak times. We'll worth the wait! You get a large stack of homemade flour tortillas and butter with your food. I especially love their carnitas and cheese enchiladas! My family loves that place. Hope to go there in a couple of weeks to celebrate a birthday! Great place for large groups. Great service!

Been a long time since my review on Mercado's. They were my favorite Mexican restaurant for a long time. But something happened. What happened was a new owner. They had to go and change things. They cut food from the menu. I loved the beef chimichanga. They no longer include soup with your order took butter off the table. They do still have the great warm salsa and chips. Unfortunately the menu changed for the worse. The got rid of the best item on the menu: the queso fundidio! As soon as it comes back, so will we. This has been my fave dish my whole life.

Very much enjoyed my lunch at Mercado Juarez yesterday! The service was EXCEPTIONAL! Elizabeth and Salvador were both helpful and very friendly. Great place for lunch conversation - not too crowded or loud, and the food arrived quickly. The Chicken Enchiladas were delicious!!! Will be back!

I used to live in Arlington many years ago, but then moved out of state. We were back for a short visit to Texas, and this was top of my list to return to for dinner. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is they actually warm the salsa. Whenever I mention this to people, they always look at me in horror, but wait till you try it, it's awesome! I haven't been to a Mercado Juarez in close to 10 years and we had a great experience here on a Thursday night. We were quickly greeted with friendly smiles and immediately seated. The place is massive with plenty of open areas of seating. They placed us in the room beside the bar and we were by ourselves in there most of the time. My Dad enjoyed the TVs in that room to keep an eye on a few college football games. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. A Manager also checked in on us once.
