They did it again! Marty B.'s sister restaurant Cactus Canyon is such a good New Mexican spot in Argyle. My favorite dish is the fajitas! Our favorite appetizer is a poblano queso and the dessert to die for is the pistachio caramel ice cream pie. So good, we have been there three times and every time the customer service food and ambience is 5 star!

Tried the place for the first time, it looked pretty busy, so that was a good sign. Got seated without any real delay. The first thing that stood out was how dark it is inside, the (necessary) table lamps were just adequate enough to make out the menu. I ordered the enchiladas. I've never at anyplace needed a knife to cut a chicken enchilada. Tough as a boot. They pretty much missed the mark on that dish. We stopped for an early dinner tonight. Sat at the bar. Bryson was awesome. Drinks were simple, wine and beer. Food was great. Cheese enchiladas,what I judge Mexican restaurants by, great flavor and the cilantro rice was sooo good. Husband got a red fish which he too loved. Tried his fried squash and I want it next time. Lots of flavor in everything! We will return!

First time at this newer Mexican food spot. It's a Marty B property, so it's definitely a different level than your usual run of the mill Tex mex. We sat at the bar, and started with a couple of cocktails. The "not a Karen Rita" was awesome, although a little pricey at $16. We have never been to Marty Bs, as we are not in tune with their political views, so I had nothing to which to compare Cactus Canyon, as so many others have in their reviews. But first let me say this restaurant is stunning! Very modern and dark, with loud but fun music playing. We went late on a Sunday, and it wasn't crowded. Food was excellent my husband had the fajitas and ate every bit of it . We had Carter as our server he did a great job and we will probably request him when we come back. It was a Friday around 5:30 we got there just in time it started to get real busy. It is a beautiful restaurant.

The food and service was average. The lighting was too dark. Many people needed their phone flashlights to read the menu. We were seated on the patio, ie wind tunnel. The price was high especially when a competitor has better quality/quantity at half the price. And the entrance to the restaurant based upon entrance to the parking lot seems like a huge design flaw. Pretty building though.

Service was what you used to get but rarely get anymore While a little pricy for Mexican food, the quality and ambiance more than made up for it Fish tacos, brisket tacos, and carne asada quesadillas were all great Also high marks on a classic margarita on the rocks
