Emma is an amazing server! Refills were often and she frequently checked in on us. She explained the appetizer platter easily and made our night very enjoyable. Food was amazing and the garlic butter for the bacon wrapped shrimp is super delicious. Only downsides are the restaurant is super loud and the frozen margarita melts very fast and came partially melted, but tasted amazing! Would definitely go back and request Emma as our waitress.

Best Mexican food I have had outside of California. Great service and sharp cocktails. Worth the trip!

When it first opened, we didn't have the most positive experience. I wrote about it here. After over a year, we finally decided to try again. Saturday night was a big win! We kept an eye on the waitlist but decided to arrive by 5:45 on a Saturday. That seemed to be about right since we saw the wait stack up significantly after we sat. I explained to the server we didn't have a great experience last time. She did a great job making sure our service was top shelf. I've driven past Cactus Canyon so many times, and I'm so glad we finally stopped in! My daughter and son-in-law were visiting from out of state, and we wanted to try somewhere new. Came out here due to a raving referral, but was only expecting a Mexican restaurant. That's an understatement. Its more like a specialized Mexican restaurant. TVs are everywhere covering all sports. It is very dark, so be prepared.it takes awhile to adjust your eyesight...Just give it a short while and then try to look at the menu. First time at Cactus Canyon, we were greeted by friendly hosts. Our waiter Saul was exceptional. The manager, Amanda, stopped by the table and asked if we needed anything. The Canyon Queso was delicious and the chicken fajitas divine!

Amazing atmosphere amazing customer service, and amazing food. Every time we visit, the customer service is never second everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable and we will continue to go there.

We ventured over to Argyle today to try Cactus Canyon. We were excited because we've heard so many good things, but overall it was just average for our group. I ordered the tortilla soup. The bowl was a generous size, but it was extremely salty and a bit spicier than I expected. I love salty food, but this was a little over the top for me. One friend ordered the chicken chimichanga.
