Our experience was perfect tonight! Jen was a wonderful waitress. We started with the Filet mignon cheese dip, he had a 1845 Salad with a buttermilk vinaigrette, I had a 9oz filet mignon with the most delicious au gratin potatoes and he had a 12oz filet mignon with the au gratin potatoes. Restaurant is so nice with perfect lighting and always clean. The manager stopped at our table and checked on us. Exceptional quality of food and service.

Really great ambiance and service here! Lakeside neighborhood is a perfect location. We ordered drinks the most recent time, but last time ordered food and everything was amazing. You can make a reservation, but usually not needed. Cocktails are great. My favorite is the clyde barrow.

Visited 1845 Taste Texas for our 35 Wedding Anniversary and it was a spectacular night with great drinks (1845 Old Fashion, 1845 Margarita and Moscow Mule), along with an appetizer (pork belly), wedge salad & house salad, and the rib eye with bake potato, prime rib with jalapeño, mac & cheese, and dirty rice and shrimps and mushrooms. The entire meal was delicious and we were highly pleased. I will be back very soon and I would highly recommend this establishment. I give them a 5 star rating.

First, Lindsey was an OUTSTANDING waitress! She answered every question we had, she was so kind and knowledgeable. She had recommendations and even let me taste the sauce for the pork chop before I ordered. The food was insane. Every part of dinner was amazing. Highly recommend the meatballs and fried jalapeños for appetizers. The pork chop was huge and tasted fabulous. And every margarita we had was stellar! Super recommend. Love the atmosphere as well since it's all Texas dedicated!

This is our second time here, and it was better than first time. Made reservation on resy. Was seated 20mins prior. Parking is a little tricky here so give yourself ample time. Lindsey was our waitress, and she was amazing and made our night. It was our son's 14th birthday dinner and they made it so special. Door was ok. Had to send steak back for wrong temperature. Booth too tight for 6. Pork chop large but mostly bone. Not as good as Perry's.

Great Texas atmosphere and food. Smoked prime rib was delicious. A little noisy but a good experience overall. Give it a try.

Went there for my wife's birthday and customer service was amazing. They explained this history and the menu very clearly. Overall it was a good atmosphere with good food and service. Will definitely be back for our next special occasion!
