Came by here after watching the long horn cattle walk and grabbed a few appetizers. The fried green tomatoes were fantastic! They came with shredded ham but very subtle flavor. I loved them! Presentation was a bit dull but flavor exceptional My first time. Loved the tartness. The Paloma was deliciously tart as well! So good! The okra was incredible! Just loved it! I recently ate here with my parents during our trip to the Stockyards. Given its prime location and some of our past Stockyards dining experiences, I had low expectations and expected a mediocre meal at peak tourist prices. I was proven wrong on all fronts. Our waiter, Cameron, was an excellent guide. He recommended their fried green tomatoes, phenomenal and an excellent touch with the shredded country ham. Went for dinner on a Saturday night, it was very crowded but thankfully we had reservations. Our waiter was friendly as was the other staff. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere with dim lighting and was very clean. We ordered fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, my dinner was trout with beans and my husband ordered shrimp and grits, everything was delicious! Cant wait to eat there again!

We had a great experience at Provender Hall. We were seated quickly, which was a nice start, and the margaritas and Palomas were excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of the entire time. The steak frites and chicken fried steak were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. You really can't beat the location either--right in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards, which adds to the whole experience. We'll definitely be back.

The ambiance of this place is amazing after sunset. In the day, it is a super cute place to dine as well. I have been a couple of times and every server I have had, has been extremely kind. The NY strip and steak frites is everything to write home about and the banana pudding was impeccable.

We came to the stockyards for date night with no plan but lucked upon this spot. It was busy with an expected 60 minute wait but they hit us in within 20. We were sat upstairs in the mezzanine area which was pretty quiet and cozy. We started with the pimento cheese, which was good, it has a different flavor than I'm accustomed to but tasty nonetheless. New York strip was cooked perfectly and delicious. Turkey club was also yummy! Drinks were delicious. Overall good experience, service was fast and helpful. Came late on a Sunday.

We saw that the reviews were very good for Provender Hall so we decided to give it a try. Being in the Stockyards was a huge bonus, so that we could walk around after the meal. There were 4 of us. It was 4:00 on a Sunday, so we were expecting a bigger crowd. As it was, we were seated immediately at 4:00, and we had no reservation. There were few people in the restaurant as it turned out. Wife and I ate here after the Christmas parade because every other place was very crowded. We were seated upstairs within a few minutes and our waitress came over immediately to take our drink orders. I ordered a cup of gumbo and it was really bad. The rice was under cooked and there was very little flavor. For entrée I ordered the Steak fritz.
