I had high hopes for this place, but was slightly disappointed by the experience. I felt like the appetizers shined more than the main entrees: Get the whipped ricotta and brussels sprouts! The cacio e pepe tasted like pasta water and noodles with a slight touch of cheese. The bolognese and specialty pastas were a little over-salted. The pasta was cooked just right, but that alone was not enough to make up for the disappointment that was the cacio e pepe. Piatello is a tad overpriced for what you get. Sure, it's worth a t... read more
The food is always amazing here! My husband and I would be happy with just the homemade ricotta appetizer and meatballs and a bottle of wine!
Saturday. March 18, 2023. Dinner. Made reservations for four at 8 pm. We were seated immediately. This place is located in a relatively new strip mall. My wife and I decided not to drink, so we ordered Cokes ($2 each) and waters. The inside is fancy with dimly lit, mood lighting. I really wanted the lasagna bolognese ($27), which was listed as "when available". Lasagna had beef, pork, marinara, ricotta and grana Padano. Everything on the menu is good. The pizzas are delicious and the pasta dishes are all good. Ricotta appetizer is a plus. Service is spotty but restaurant is clean. There is also a good area outside for the kids to run around and play.
Food is great and the staff are quick and efficient. It has a real downtown Italian vibe great for lunch.
Best Italian food in Fort Worth. Fresh handmade pasta, everything from scratch including the ricotta and even the caramel used on some of their desserts. Great staff, half price bottles of wine on Mondays. Try a arangecello or limoncello after dinner.
The food here is amazing. Definitely a date night favorite for my wife and I. The lobster ravioli is out of this world.
Favorite Italian restaurant in Fort Worth. The service is great and the food comes quick. We like to eat here a couple times a month. Love the mussels when they have them. Always get the chopped salad and the pastas are great too. I crave their chopped salad. Have never had a bad dessert if your not too full from everything else.
Cannot find a bad thing to say about this restaurant. My husband and I had date night here on New Years Eve. We made a reservation, arrived early and they sat us right away with no issues. Our waitress Kaitlyn was very attentive, all staff worked together efficiently to serve us to the best of their ability. The food was superb! We got the calamari, sourdough and ricotta as appetizers both were wonderful. The saffron linguini and Lobster ravioli were the entrees, so delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will be... read more
