I just experienced the best steak I've ever had in North America. The cut? A Spinalis Cut (rib cap). This can be requested when making a reservation. I received this at the abundance of luck. Absolutely incredible and tender. I ordered mine medium rare and recommend no warmer than medium. I started this evening with a modest Happy Hour. I am still in awe of the steak. Still one of my very favorite spots in Fort Worth. An early dinner before the rodeo and Ethan took great care of us. The salmon rillettes and bone marrow were enjoyed by our whole table as was the beef tartare. I loved my pork shank entree and another had the scallops special and enjoyed it immensely! Two bottles of reasonably priced Chianti later (very well equipped wine list plus inventive and expertly made cocktails...) we headed out of the cozy dining room for the short drive to Dickies.

Outstanding food and service. Clay Pigeon is a true hidden gem in Fort Worth and, without question, my favorite restaurant in Texas. I really wanted to love this place. I think it really depends on what you order, the deviled eggs were good but I ordered the prefix and it wasn't very good esp for the price. The food is very pretty & the staff was very nice but it's not worth the price with such bland food. (Think California not Texas). Also do not get the chocolate cake from the prefix. It's the only place I've ever seen where chocolate cake isn't finished at multiple tables.

I had dinner at Clay Pigeon last night, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The service was honestly the best part of the evening -- our waitress, Lindsey, was amazing. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole night feel effortless. Truly one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. And the food? To die for. Absolutely amazing food and dining experience!! Went out with family to celebrate a birthday and everyone's food was to die for. The duck, steak, and pasta were so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even the dessert was fabulous. Very few places have truly made me say wow like this restaurant does. Our server was so kind and funny with an atmosphere that is comfy yet classy. 100% WILL BE BACK!!

Everything about my visit was fantastic! We sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, suggestive on menus items, and genuine. There were plenty of locals so the conversation was amazing! Our food was TO DIE FOR! Totally a return to place!

We had such a wonderful evening at Clay Pigeon. Ethan, our waiter was superb, I felt we had the table for the night. Everything we tasted was delicious. I suggest going and trying everything, you will not be disappointed! The bartender made amazing non alcoholic drinks that were flavorful and nuanced, I did not feel I was missing anything in not ordering a cocktail. The atmosphere feels special, but you will see people dressed in anything from cocktail dresses to jeans.
