Friendly bar tender. Decent drink specials. This might be unfair, but I am giving this location an average rating as the ambiance is killed by a stiflingly non-inclusive homogeneous group of clientele. Can't say that I felt comfortable here. Very likely a fun spot for those who are regulars. I can't say this bar is anything special, but it is big.

The service was really nice and apologetic because it was a busy night. Food did take a long time so I'm happy we didn't go hungry because that wouldn't have been good. Some of us liked our food, some of us didn't. I shared the ribeye and it was not good, one of the worse steaks I've had. It was thin, overcooked, and not fatty for a ribeye. Ambiance we loved because it was playing all the football games. Thirsty lion as a chain is mid in my opinion.
Food was good! My fav is bacon wrapped dates. The bbq pork had too much sauce but it was good with the kimchi fried rice.
Stopped by Thirsty Lion on the way to the game and was really impressed. The food was great, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a pregame bite. Definitely recommend!

Since I started working at a new place, I have had some longer days and each time I come back to downtown, Thirsty Lion has always welcomed me with great service, better food, and a lively atmosphere. The latest fall menu hits the mark not just in taste, but aesthetic appeal - be sure to sample both before time runs out!

This was a last-minute decision thanks to all the downtown events that night, and we lucked out with two open seats at the bar! The fish tacos were fantastic, and the bartenders were entertaining and fun to chat with. A wonderful surprise for two very hungry and tired people.

The atmosphere is nothing special. It's a large, open concept sports bar. I was a bit disappointed with the menu options. I expected more options. I ordered a medium-rare cheeseburger. I received a somewhat crispy, well-done burger. Another individual in our party also ordered a cheeseburger. He requested his burger to be cooked medium. His burger was also served well-done. Several Individuals in our party ordered salads. They were both happy with their meals.

We stopped in here ahead of boarding the shuttle for Red Rocks. It honestly has a Yard House vibe but I'm not mad about it. We only had drinks and I appreciate that they had a couple of options - drinks to have for here as well as drinks to take to-go on the shuttle. Service was as quick as they could possibly be and then we were on our way on the shuttles to Red Rocks!

My company hosted a few happy hour networking events here and were generally satisfied. If anyone reading this is thinking of doing the same thing, I would recommend it but they do not have private rooms just FYI. The location really can't be beat. It's in the heart of downtown steps away from Union Station. Again, great for getting people to come to your networking event. The food and drinks are all really tasty and well made.
