With a spacious covered patio overlooking a green space, Thirsty Lion is an excellent place to meet for drinks and snacks. If you're looking for dinner, unfortunately the food is just meh. Let's start with the good - an excellent draft and cocktail menu with wine by the glass. Appetizers are also solid, although our portion of calamari was tiny for the price. This has become one of our favorites in the area. Great staff, excellent food, and a comfortable environment. They have a great patio as well.

Great menu, great staff, amazing food, for a reasonable price. My girl and I ate here for an early lunch today and it was great. I used to come here 5 years ago but moved out of state. First place I stopped when I got back in town. Great atmosphere, perfect spot for a lunch date.
Thirsty Lion is a great spot for drinks, food, and a fun atmosphere. The happy hour specials have a good variety of food and drinks at a great price. One thing I really appreciated was that the bartenders wrote their name on a tag placed on the bar top. It made it easy to get to know them, and added a personal touch to the experience. The place gets busy, so things can move a little slow at times. I'll definitely be back, especially for happy hour!

I've seen this place a lot and decided to try it today. Didn't need a reservation as the restaurant was steady but still available seating. It's pretty big inside with a huge bar in the middle. The patio area was also a decent size as well. Table tops were clean but the seats were still a bit dirty. Riley, our hostess was taking care of us. Had a really flavorful Spicy Sausage & Prosciutto flatbread. A little on the small side for the price paid. But very tasty. The place was busy for a Wednesday. Ambiance was pretty lively, service was good and friendly. I'd consider coming g back. But it's a little pricey for what you get.

Decent choices - went for a birthday celebration of coworker. Food service was great - nice pleasant and did not rush our group when questions asked - polite to answer regarding food items and drinks. Tried cocktails very fun - but expensive be aware. The plates can be shared as we tried Queso, sliders - very spicy but we love them - salads and more. Hostess was nice and took our pics on request. Easy parking on side Walnut Hill or parking garage covered in this TX heat next door.

We came here for brunch. I don't know why this place doesn't have more stars! For one, their black beans are actually seasoned/flavorful. My bf had breakfast tacos and it came with a side of black beans, we are scarred from black beans by multiple establishments in Southlake, so we were impressed with the black beans and they had pieces of bacon in it!
