Party of 7 top of lunch hour and we were seated quickly. The gentleman seating us noted the limited time specials and suggested the black cherry pork tenderloin. Tender, full of flavor and priced appropriately. I'd get it again if it ever is a special. To the bow tied host...you have found your calling! BTW, everything I've tried at Thirsty Lion has been great!

I see quite a few reviews complaining about the 3% tax Thirsty Lion charges on every bill. I do like the food there but haven't eaten there in years. Until they wipe this charge off the bills to customers I will never go there again. Only restaurant I've ever eaten at the taxes the customers for eating at their establishment. With this being said, Spirit Halloween could always use a different location for their seasonal store....

I recently ate the Mediranean chopped chicken salad at the Washington Square Thirsty Lion. It was delicious! It is currenly on their seasonal menu; I hope it is moved to their regular menu. It would become one of my favorites. Also, Howard their General Manager was very helpful. Jim Manary

Becky, Laura, Howard & Rylee were exceptionally nice and accommodating during my visit and that makes me want to come back soon. I had the chicken sliders on the HH menu and they were really good. 5 nice sized strips with ranch and house made siracha fry dip. This restaurant is extremely clean and that feels good because I am sure that carries over into the kitchen. If you live in the SW Portland area this is the prime spot to meet up with your friends.

About 6 of us showed up for a lunch and had no problem getting a table. We enjoyed the fried cheese curds and pretzel for apps (although beer cheese was a bit runny) and transitioned to a good salad bowl for lunch. I enjoyed the ambiance and music of the place and our service was good!

What a treat to find a pub like this so close to our hotel. Large restaurant, plenty of seating and comfortable environment. Great for meeting up with friends and family. The menu is actually full of variety, and everything we ordered was really good. We would definitely return.
