My husband and I ate the ribeye steak here last night and it was far less than expected. The "12 ounce" steak was more like 8 ounces, cooked well done when we asked for medium, served with bland mashed potatoes and a tiny amount of veggies for $40 per plate! We've had better from Sizzler. The service was friendly and fast, but the food was extremely disappointing and expensive.
Simply the best food, best service , and best people that you will find. Once you experience Thirsty Lion, you will always come back for more!!
We stopped in here with a party of four for dinner. We've been here a couple of times before and each experience has been similar. This visit seemed to be a busy night so we had a short wait for a table, approx 10 minutes. Our friendly host sat us and we were served waters quickly. Came in to try some English staples. Scotch eggs and fish & chips. Food was good! The place is on the loud side, they have a great bar with several big screen tvs. The service was fair, not overly friendly and a bit on the slow side. After trying it, we are good. Don't need a do over.
Good food. Service was great. I loved the coffee martini (I think that's what it was). The only thing I don't like there is that it's loud.

The food was very good, and we had such a nice waiter!! He checked in on us frequently and we had nice rapport. We were seated outside, but the area was heated properly. Even when busy, service was fast.

The server deserves 5 stars but besides that service wasn't great. When I walked in the host, about 5'3 and blonde was vaping at the host stand and greeted me with an attitude, then tried to seat us at a dirty table. What my friend and I ordered was really good and all the plates leaving the open kitchen looked amazing! I will definitely be back. Loud atmosphere is kind of annoying, but it is a bar so I guess it's to be expected.
